FN HERSTAL

FN® FCU Mk3 Fire Control Unit

The FN FCU Mk3 Fire Control Unit provides a complete sighting and aiming solution for 40mm LV and MV grenade launchers. It calculates the trajectory of grenades and gives an adjusted point of aim enabling the grenadier to obtain first-round hits in all conditions, night and day. The FN FCU Mk3 comprises a laser range finder; a large aiming window for easy target acquisition; sensors for temperature, angles of elevation and cant; a ballistic calculator; and a self-adjusting electronic reticle. It also has a quick detach base through a MIL-STD-1913 type interface and one-hand activated lever. When combined, all these features help to dramatically increase the hit probability of the 40mm grenade system in defense and security operations. The FN FCU Mk3 can be fitted onto any rifles or carbines, such as the FN SCAR® (FN MK 16 or 17) assault rifle (featuring an underslung grenade launcher), onto stand-alone launchers such as FN40GL®-S (FN MK13) or onto multi-shot grenade launchers.

The Trijicon 1-8×28 VCOG® (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) is a highly rugged, variable magnification riflescope designed for close-quarter battle (CQB) and long-distance marksmanship. STREAMLIGHT

TLR-VIR II Tactical Illuminator

The TLR-VIR II enables users to easily toggle easily between bright light and the IR illuminator/laser. This feature allows military and law enforcement personnel to remain in a proper firing position when making the transition from IR mode to white light and vice versa. The light features a three-position mode rear selector switch, including IR illumination/IR laser, Safe Off (to prevent accidental turn-on) and visible illumination that enables users to keep hands away from the muzzle during mode selection.

For IR lighting, the TLR-VIR II uses an 850-nanometer LED emitter with 600mW/sr radiant intensity, providing optimum illumination when using night vision equipment, delivering a run time of 12 hours. Its IR aiming laser has fully adjustable windage and elevation settings. The TLR-VIR II is constructed from machined aircraft aluminum, with an anodized finish body and a high-impact, chemically resistant polymer black switch housing.
