PELI-HARDIGG™ V-Series Rack Mount Cases

PELI-HARDIGG™
V-Series Rack Mount Cases

The V-Series rack cases include the best features of Peli’s configurable rack cases in a pre-configured solution for quick plug-and-play use. Rack equipment is becoming lighter in weight which requires an economical and rapid method of attachment.

Peli-Hardigg™ V-Series cases are versatile and ready to use and are built using a full-boxed, 19-inch (482mm), steel rack with an industry-standard square hole pattern, so hanging electronics with tab mounts is a snap. These cases include clip nuts—attaching the clip nut onto a square hole provides a secure, threaded mount. The V-Series are available in two different models: the Classic-V and the Super-V. Both models are REACH- and RoHs-compliant.

GENERAL STARLIGHT CO. INC. (GSCI) Quadro-S

GENERAL STARLIGHT CO. INC. (GSCI)
Quadro-S

Quadro-S is a compact augmented vision system for tactical surveillance, observation and engagement at short-to-medium range distances. Made in Canada with military and law enforcement end users in mind, it is weapon mountable, tripod mountable or simply hand-held. The Quadro-S is packed in a hard-anodized aluminum body weighing just 750g, with dimensions 170x91x70mm and has 640×480 FPA resolution, a built-in video recorder, Auto-NUC for uninterrupted operation (no “clicks”), 50Hz refresh rate, 35mm, f/1.0 focal lens and a human detection range of up to 1100m.

GSCI’s patented multi-sensor technology found in the QUADRO-S operates in 4 distinct modes: thermal, daytime, night-time and the pivotal day–night hybrid view, known as Fusion Mode. A detailed image is created from the visible/near infrared and long-wave infrared ranges of the spectrum when the operator is in Fusion Mode. Any inherent limitations found in thermal imaging or night vision alone are negated when these channels work together and complement each other to produce one real-time, lag-free video image to give uncompromised situational awareness. For this reason, it is finding its way into the hands of government end users to ensure their safety and effectiveness when operating in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

SILVER SHADOW SNAKE 5.56x45mm Rifle

SILVER SHADOW
SNAKE 5.56x45mm Rifle

Silver Shadow’s next-gen gas-operated double-barreled SNAKE 5.56x45mm Rifle is the newest member of the successful Gilboa family of rifles, and the only double-barreled AR rifle in the world, operated by gas. In addition to its powerful impact, the total weight of the weapon has been significantly reduced.

The double-barreled SNAKE allows faster traversing between multiple targets by enabling two rounds on the target with each shot, side-by-side trigger pull, thereby minimizing time per target. It has wider upper and lower receivers to incorporate the two independent firing systems. The two parallel barrels are 3cm apart from the bore center.

The 5.56x45mm-caliber weapon weighs 4.5kg without the magazine. Its overall length is 790mm, with a barrel length of 2x292mm (11.5 inches) and a weapon width of 92mm. The firing mode is double semi-automatic, with the method of operation direct impingement gas systems.

Benefits include the redundancy of having two mechanisms working at all times, giving a soldier double fire power, higher penetration due to tight grouping and higher accuracy during penetration through hardened glass with the first round weakening the barrier. The Gilboa firearms are compatible with US and NATO standards for mounts and equipment and are built to MIL-STD and MIL-SPEC.
