JetBeam, a Chinese company, has introduced two new tactical lights: the BC 40 and the BC 20. Both lights feature Cree LEDs and adjustable front bezels that allow the user to go from full power light (high mode) to low power light (eco mode) with less than 1/4 turn. The BC 40 features a blinding 830 lumens on high and 130 lumens on eco mode. This powerful light has a 344 meter beam reach. It is powered by four CR123 batteries or two 18650 low cost rechargeable batteries. The BC 20 is powered by two CR123 batteries, has a maximum output of 305 lumens and has a Cree XP-G R5 LED light. On low power the BC20 puts out 20 lumens and has a run time of 36 hours. Both lights features bodies made from aero grade aluminum alloy and have a Type III hard anodized finish for corrosion and scratch resistance. The lights are waterproof and submersible to 2 meters. The lights have reverse polarity protection so they are not damaged if the batteries are inserted incorrectly and have momentary and lock on tail cap switches. They both have high efficiency reflectors for excellent spill and throw of the beam. The Cree LED’s have a life span of 50,000 hours. The BC40 comes with a black Cordura holster, wrist lanyard and extra spare O rings. The BC20 comes with a pocket clip, wrist lanyard and extra O rings.
