Show Dress
As with most European defense shows, professional dress is recommended. Please note that most locals wear muted colors, so bright colors and patterns will stand out.

Show Food
There are 2 places to eat at the show entrance; one that serves cafeteria-style fare and a café that serves paninis, etc.

Hotel Hints
The exhibition is outside the city, so stay in central Prague close to Metro Line C (direct line to exhibition). Visit www.future-forces-forum.org and reserve your stay in recommended hotels with the best available prices!

Power & Plug Types
230 V, 50 Hz. Standard European 2-pin (same as Belgium, France, Italy, etc.).

Cultural Hints
Language: Czech. It is recommended to have a dinner reservation in Prague. Patrons will most likely receive better treatment if they have a reservation. Large breakfasts are hard to find, but Café Imperial serves a good one. Otherwise, eat breakfast at the hotel. Good, inexpensive beer is readily available. A lot of establishments take credit cards, but cash is still king.

Currency
Czech Koruna (CZK). Go to www.xe.com for current exchange rates.

Tipping
Restaurants: 10-15%, if you receive good service. Check the bill to see if gratuity is already included. Cash tips are preferred.

Getting Around
Fly into Prague Václav Havel Airport (PRG). The easiest way to get to the exhibition from central Prague is to take Metro Line C (red line) and get off at Letňany. The metro system is fast, efficient, and easy. Beware of unofficial taxis – use a central dispatcher if possible. Walking is the best way to see most of the city.

Tourism
Sit and have a drink in the Old Town Square, then enjoy the view from the top of the Old Town Hall. Stroll over the beautiful Gothic Charles Bridge and then go visit Prague Castle where you can get a spectacular view of the city and view St. Vitus Cathedral. For a sobering experience, see the Old Jewish Cemetery, where approx. 200,000 people are buried.
