Meetings in Europe typically require a suit and tie. If one is touring the exhibits, business casual should suffice.
Hotel Hints
There are many western chain hotels within the Nurnberg area. A hotel located near the U-Bahn (the mass transit subway system) is recommended for ultimate convenience. Hotels in the City Center tend to be a little more expensive, but the ability to walk through town and avoid taxi fares make up for the added cost.

Cultural Hints
Germans are generally warm and accommodating. Germany has one of the world’s highest levels of education, technological development, and economic productivity.

Euro. As of press time, the exchange rate was approximately 1.26 USD to the Euro, or .78 Euro to the Dollar.
Getting around
The U-Bahn is quick and convenient. Tickets are generally on the honor system, but do not get caught without a ticket – fines are levied on the spot by the transit police. Tickets for the U Bahn can often be purchased directly from the hotel, or from an automated kiosk at the station. Taxis are quick and efficient, and generally safe.

Tourism
Nuremberg is the second-largest city in Bavaria, home to dark beer and an excellent Christmas market. For centuries Nuremberg was the unofficial capital of the Holy Roman Empire. As a result, it claims to be the last intact walled city within Europe, complete with the Kaiserberg Castle within the wall’s boundaries.
