ITEC attracts exhibitors that constantly push the envelope in cutting-edge defense training, education, and simulation. 120+ exhibitors provide hands-on demonstrations of technological applications for military and law enforcement users, with a focus on real-world scenarios, ranging from weapons training to flight simulation to language/cultural awareness.

At the 2009 ITEC conference and exhibition in Brussels, Belgium, small arms applications were not the primary focus of show displays, but the majority of exhibiting companies had a number of combat training systems available in their arsenals of training programs.

Raydon displayed its .50 caliber Individual Gunnery Trainer (IGT), which provides individual gunnery training for HMMWV gunners. Cubic Defense Applications highlighted its MILES Individual Weapon System; a laser engagement system providing real-time feedback during weapons engagements. Laser Shot, partnered with Bohemia Interactive, has the VBS2 Tactical Weapons Simulator for military training on IED defeat, tactical training, weapons familiarization, and more.
