At the 2009 ITEC conference and exhibition in Brussels, Belgium, small arms applications were not the primary focus of show displays, but the majority of exhibiting companies had a number of combat training systems available in their arsenals of training programs.

Raydon displayed its .50 caliber Individual Gunnery Trainer (IGT), which provides individual gunnery training for HMMWV gunners.  Cubic Defense Applications highlighted its MILES Individual Weapon System; a laser engagement system providing real-time feedback during weapons engagements.  Laser Shot, partnered with Bohemia Interactive, has the VBS2 Tactical Weapons Simulator for military training on IED defeat, tactical training, weapons familiarization, and more.
